Deals Center
Client: Sears Role: Art Director UX/UI Design
The Problem:
The old deals page was handled by a third party for years, making it hard to control and maintain. The scattered elements created confusion and lack of engagement due to poor grouping and absence of hierarchy, which lead us to need to have full control on the back and front ends, as well as complete domain over the overall UX in order to reach parity with other areas of the site and increase engagement which could lead to higher conversion.
The Solution:
The new deals page was a complete revamp of the overall experience. From the column layout all the way through increased size of each element and putting the focus on more prominent images, the scannability of the actual deals improved. The use of "badges" overlaying the images gained more logic, only using them on the most relevant deal thresholds in order to make those stand from the rest.
This new design brought a 4.39% increase in cart visits compared to the original.
