Sears Bundles Page
Rethinking the bundles page for Sears.com
Bundles Template
Client: Sears Role: Art Director UX/UI Design
The Problem:
The original bundles page lacked hierarchy and logic flow, causing confusion and leaving users to abandon the site. The actual bundle packages did not provide a lot of flexibility when it came to customization, which left large visual gaps within the layout. This was the main focus of the exploration.
The Solution:
After the redesign, the clear hierarchy and structure guided the users to start customizing their bundle, using common UI elements like checkboxes and radio buttons that decreased the cognitive load and simplified the experience.
As the user scrolls down, a sticky header is triggered to ensure that pricing and primary call to action are always visible. This gives the user a great sense of location within the experience.
Because it's always good to look at the problem from a different angle, I decided to concept another approach that used more of a wizard layout... this concept is still in progress.
